Once your manuscript is uploaded and approved, the waiting begins — and the timeline after submission is where most first-time authors lose track of what happens next. Publish Day takes the single date your book went in and maps out every milestone that follows: the revision window, the proof approval stage, the production and printing period, and the point where distribution goes live to retailers and libraries.

Alongside the timeline, Publish Day gives you a pre-flight checklist covering the things that are easy to forget before your book reaches readers — cover and interior file checks, ISBN and metadata details, pricing and wholesale discount decisions, and the submission tasks that need to be finished before release day. Every item is grouped by category, so you can see at a glance how close you are to launch.

The app is built for independent authors, small presses, and anyone publishing their first or fifteenth book without a traditional publishing team behind them.
